During the pandemic our facilities and key programs will be available in the safest manner possible so you can access the services and support you need most. The way we'll interact with each other will be different, but at the Y, you'll always be able to connect with people, improve your health and wellness, nurture your child's potential and help strengthen our community.
Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
The Upper Midwest Alliance of YMCAs is a collective of Ys in Minnesota, Wisconsin and U.P. Michigan dedicated to maximizing our impact in youth development, healthy living and social responsibility; and communicating that impact with ONE VOICE, statewide. Together, our network of Y's build capacity and foster collaboration on statewide and multi-state initiatives through effective partnerships and advocacy.
Did you know we are the single largest provider of early childhood and school age programs in the state, and the nation? Ys also teach more kids how to swim than any other institution, which are lessons in safety, healthy living and self-confidence.
We provide evidence-based chronic disease prevention and education programs, such as the YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program for pre-diabetics and LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA for cancer survivors.
The Y is the leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community by connecting all people to their potential, purpose and each other.
The Y. For a better us. ®
