The Wisconsin/Upper Peninsula Michigan YMCA State Alliance is a collective of Ys dedicated to maximizing our impact in youth development, healthy living and social responsibility; and communicating that impact with ONE VOICE, statewide. Together, our network of Y's build capacity and foster collaboration on statewide and multi-state initiatives through effective partnerships and advocacy. The Wisconsin/U.P. Michigan YMCA's serve over 667,000 people, both children and adults, in 74 Ys.
Did you know we are the single largest provider of early childhood and school age programs in the state, and the nation? Ys also teach more kids how to swim than any other institution, which are lessons in safety, healthy living and self-confidence.
We provide evidence-based chronic disease prevention and education programs, such as the YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program for pre-diabetics and LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA for cancer survivors.
The Y is the leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community by connecting all people to their potential, purpose and each other.
The Y. For a better us.™
